Purpose
The admissions process helps Synergy understand a learner’s current stage, goals and support needs before recommending a programme. Admission is based on suitability, available places and the school’s ability to provide appropriate support.
Who can apply
Applications are welcomed from families seeking online support for the programmes currently advertised. Entry requirements may differ by course, age, year group, curriculum and intended examination route.
Admissions stages
- Submit an online application or enquiry
- Discuss the learner’s needs and goals
- Complete a diagnostic assessment where appropriate
- Receive a programme and cohort recommendation
- Review fees, timetable, policies and technical requirements
- Complete enrolment, consent and payment steps
- Attend induction and begin learning
Information and decisions
Families should provide accurate information about attainment, target schools or examinations, learning needs and relevant medical or safeguarding matters. Synergy will explain whether a programme is suitable and may suggest a different pathway.
Fair access
Admissions decisions must follow the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where required. A place may be declined where the programme cannot safely or appropriately meet the learner’s needs.
Confirmation
A place is confirmed only when Synergy has completed the required review and issued confirmation. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or a particular cohort date.
